It's Monday! What Are You Reading? is a weekly linkup hosted my Sheila at Book Journey. I highly suggest joining up if you are a reader. It will add to your reading pile!
Last week, I told you all about finishing Perdition by Ann Aguirre and that I was going to start reading "The Misfortune Cookie" by Laura Resnick.
I had a bit of a hiccup (boy, my reading has been waaaaaaay off the last few Mondays, hasn't it? Ha Ha!), I started reading it and then I realized I had MISSED out on a book in the series. I hadn't read "Polterheist"! That's unacceptable. I had to order it, of course and read it before I can move on to "The Misfortune Cookie", right?
Polterheist arrived on Friday and this weekend was a bit crazy. By crazy, I meant the conspiracy (you should seriously read that post.) against me and "Murder She Wrote" is over and I had some catching up to do! To make it EVEN better, my brother bought Emma and I a 42" LED TV as a belated Christmas present and I couldn't be anymore stoked! I am in looooooooooove with our new TV. To celebrate? A weekend of "Murder She Wrote"! LOL
Well, and "The Croods" and "A Christmas Story" (Emma's choices) and we did attend her exercise program on Sunday.
Excuse the mess behind it but I loooove it! |
Sounds like you had lots of engaging distractions this week. It also sounds like you watched some good shows and movies. I like that someone else needs to read series books in order. I thought I was alone in that. You can see my plans for the week here. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteDon't you hate it when you miss a book in the series? Throws everything all out of whack! Congrats on the new TV! What an awesome gift!
ReplyDeleteLOL - I bought my husband a 55" TV for a belated Christmas/Birthday gift and like you its been hard to tear look away! (Ive been re-watching my Buffy The Vampire Slayer box series to celebrate)
ReplyDeleteI hope you enjoy Polterheist!
Have a fab week,
Shelleyrae @ Book'd out
Polterheist looks amazing! What a gorgeous cover. Enjoy reading this week!
ReplyDeleteTake a look at what I'm reading this week.
Books can easily slip to the wayside when reading a series. I'm not a big series reader for that reason, and also my memory tends to be like a sieve and so I generally have to re-read before moving on.
ReplyDeleteThat's one big TV! We don't actually own a TV in our household.
Happy Reading!

LOL yay for big TV's and I want to see The Croods!! I hear ya on the series, I'm a tad 'anal' about reading in order haha.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week and happy reading after you've overdosed on TV shows ;)
Watching Murder She Wrote sounds like a great way to spend the weekend and break in your new TV. Love that series, I'm currently re-watching it and loving every minute of it. I also hate when I miss a book in the series, it really throws everything off.
ReplyDeleteI love the look of Polterheist and have yet to see the Croods!
