Nothing really. At least on the surface they do not. However, what they do have in common is Twitter. Are you confused yet? Ha ha. One of the things I love about Twitter is the interaction and some of the conversations that come out of them. Honestly, it took me a long time to really "get" Twitter and it really boils down to following the RIGHT people and getting the interaction flowing. It's awesome.
Last night, I am chatting with two awesome moms who are also bloggers on Twitter (Mama Dweeb and Maree Jones). The conversation was about how working moms are like rock stars, then it touched on dear, old GOOP (Gwyneth Paltrow for those who don't know) and single moms. You know you are a blogger when a conversation sparks up an idea for a blog post and Mama Dweeb put up an AWESOME post about 10 things single moms have in common with rock stars. I love it. I highly recommend reading it. It really covers most moms but it touched me because as you know, I am a single mom!
On to my man, Bruce. His voice? SEXY. His face? GORGEOUS. I am a huge Babylon 5 fan and I adored him as Commander Sheridan. I also remember growing up watching him on Scarecrow and Mrs. King. The man is amazing. I was really sad when the Babylon 5 cast (those still living) came to Phoenix ComiCon as part of the 20 year reunion and I missed getting to go! My goal? Meet Bruce Boxleitner! Not only is he an actor (Tron anyone?), a former model but he also wrote two Space Westerns! I was thinking about ordering them to read (I have a special place in my heart for Space Westerns thanks to Firefly) so I decided to tweet him and see which I should read first. READ IT AND WEEP SUCKAS!!!! I got a TWEET back. Yes, I am nerdy and No, I am not ashamed.
