Recipe: Cherry Cordial Bark
Cherry cordials.
Every Christmas, boxes of cherry cordials are bountiful and honestly, I love them and they're such a guilty pleasure. This year, instead of eating them like bon bons- turn them into something even more special- cherry cordial bark!

I hope that you all had a great Thanksgiving! Ours is always nice. We ate a turducken for the first time and it was AWESOME! I am stuffed and feeling lazy. No black Friday shopping for me. Well, kind of. I did grab a few things online but... no store madness. I just can't stomach the crowded stores and I would rather stay in and watch some Investigation Discovery.

Moana Movie Review + Slow Cooker Teriyaki Pork Tacos
This is a sponsored post on behalf of Review Wire Media for Walt Disney. I received information to facilitate my review as well as a promotional item to thank me for my participation
About Moana:
When I was provided the opportunity to see a screening of Moana (In 3D!), I jumped all over it. I have been wanting to see it since the first time I see the previews. With that came- a recipe for Teriyaki Pork Tacos.
About Moana:
Three thousand years ago, the greatest sailors in the world voyaged across the vast Pacific, discovering the many islands of Oceania. But then, for a millennium, their voyages stopped – and no one knows why.
From Walt Disney Animation Studios comes “Moana,” a sweeping, CG-animated feature film about an adventurous teenager who sails out on a daring mission to save her people. During her journey, Moana (voice of Auli‘i Cravalho) meets the once-mighty demigod Maui (voice of Dwayne Johnson), who guides her in her quest to become a master wayfinder. Together, they sail across the open ocean on an action-packed voyage, encountering enormous monsters and impossible odds, and along the way, Moana fulfills the ancient quest of her ancestors and discovers the one thing she’s always sought: her own identity.

The Ultimate Fall Comfort Food: Butternut Squash Spaghetti Recipe
The Ultimate Fall Comfort Food: Butternut Squash Spaghetti recipe
Squash is one of my all time favorite vegetables. Wait, I think squash is technically a fruit BUT calling it a vegetable makes me feel better. Or something like that. I won't lie- I haven't met a squash I didn't like- acorn, Italian, zucchini, calabacita- summer, winter- I don't care. It's all delicious to me! I like it roasted, blended, fried, in a soup- or in as featured today, over pasta.

Top 10 Fun Game Ideas for Kids This Christmas
*This Amazon Top 10 Fun Game Ideas For Kids This Christmas post may contain affiliate links*
Growing up in a large family, my parents couldn't really afford to to buy us a lot of gifts but the one thing that was traditional was a family gift that we opened on Christmas Eve and every time, it was a new board game! We would play the new game for hours on end and it was always so much fun. It is one of my happier memories- playing Monopoly for days on end, laughing, fighting, Mom's homemade hot cocoa and eating.

Review: Jazz Loves Disney Album
This is "Jazz Loves Disney" post is a sponsored post from Disney Music and One2One Network. All opinions are my own |
Who else still remembers all the words to "The Bare Necessities" from "The Jungle Book"? I know I do and EVERY time I hear it, I start singing along and visualize Baloo and Mowgli dancing and singling. I love that now, my daughter is experiencing the magic of Disney movies and music. They're enduring and memorable.
Disney's latest album is absolutely magical and I am obsessed. "Jazz Loves Disney" is an absolutely beautiful compilation of timeless songs. The fusion of jazz with Disney classics is a masterpiece and needs to be in any music lovers collection. The soothing voices of artists like Stacey Kent and Melody Gardot takes Disney songs to another level. Beautiful, relaxing and it's a perfect fit to pair with a lovely merlot and a quiet evening.

How to use board games as educational tools & brain games (Plus giveaway!)
Disclaimer: Product was provided for consideration but my thoughts and opinions are my own. |
Since the brain injury, I have learned the importance of play and music when it comes to learning. She has been in therapies (physical, occupational, speech and music) since she was 11 months old and is now 13. Integrating education and rehab with playing games is so important. Kids learn through play and finding brain games to help improve cognitive has always been a top priority.

Review: Simply Earth - An essential oils subscription box (Plus a special offer)
Essential oils are a HOT topic lately. EOs (Essential oils) are not anything new by any means but the buzz has been hot about them. I am not well versed in them but I have used lavender EOs for calming and headache purposes. I have also made homemade air freshener with various blends. I have been wanting to learn more about them and dabble with them so when Simply Earth reached out to me to review their subscription box, I couldn't say no!
