I've read about 47 of them, which is not much since I spend so much time reading! Some on this list I definitely want to read and some that are not on the list, I'd love to add to the list!
ReplyDeleteI agree with you! Some of these I have sitting in my bookshelves waiting to be read!
ReplyDelete47 is good though!
Wow, 47! I've only read 15 complete and many partials...

Awesome post!
ReplyDeleteI'm actually quite proud of myself for reading 27 of them! :)
My post is here: http://bethsbookreviewblog.blogspot.com/2009/07/have-you-read-more-than-6-of-these.html
Diane- I counted some of my partials. Now if movies counted, I could put Harry Potter as read. lol
ReplyDeleteNice Beth!
I've read 39, plus some partials (like the Bible). Great list, and many of these are on my shelf...
ReplyDeleteHi Jaime,
ReplyDeleteI have only read 13 of them I think. But a lot of them are on my bookshelves. I have aslo started to read some of them but never finished them, so I guess they shouldn't be taken in account either. Thanks for this little test. I will put a post about it on my blog :-)
You've done really really well on this list :-D
ReplyDeleteThough I heavily recommend you read The Woman in White and The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time (especially the latter!). They're totally worth it.
I've read 27 from the list which is sad considering how many books I have read in my life!
ReplyDeleteCool, we have a display of the books from this list at our book store. I've read 30 of them. I was happy to see some choices like Dune and The Secret History. Was anyone bothered/surprised by the addition of The Five People You Meet in Heaven?

ReplyDeleteI let my inner book nerd out to play! :)

it was fun!
I think partial bible/partial shakespeare should count!
ReplyDeleteSue, I thought it was fun! Or maybe I put the BBC on a pedestal, but I feel super smart! LOL
LN, 13 is good!
Lady Lazarus, I will look for those two. I have never heard of them. This list definitely opened my eyes to more books (Like I really need to add to my collection..lol)
Kathy- 27 is good!
Mandy- That's cool! I need to read Dune! I wasn't bothered by the Five People You Meet in Heaven, I liked it but I really wish it would have been Tuesdays with Morrie instead :)
Mardel- Love your post!
I keep losing count but it was about 45 and a few are in my tbr shelves.

15 for me. I was gonna post this on my blog, but every time I tried, Internet Explorer shut down. Fate I suppose.
ReplyDeleteOk.... lets see...

Hmmmm.... not so good...
I believe I have read at least 50 of them (I counted 47 I had not read!). But some where back in HS or college so I might not remember them well! I have read the entire Bible (several times) and all the Works of Shakespeare - once when I was young! LOL I'd have to look over the list again but I'm not sure there are any that I am craving to read! :) Please give me light reading! Martha
ReplyDeleteI've only read 19 and I thought I would have read more. Oh well...have a lot of reading to do....
ReplyDeleteHave only read 23 on the list, but own 12 more that I haven't gotten to yet. And to be honest, some of these I have no desire to read at all. Strange selections...
ReplyDeletePosted this on my blog with a link back to your site. Thanks Jaime!
