"Run For Your Life" by James Patterson (From Hatchette Book Group's Site)
A calculating killer who calls himself The Teacher is taking on New York City, killing the powerful and the arrogant. His message is clear: remember your manners or suffer the consequences! For some, it seems that the rich are finally getting what they deserve. For New York's elite, it is a call to terror.
Only one man can tackle such a high-profile case: Detective Mike Bennett. The pressure is enough for anyone, but Mike also has to care for his 10 children-all of whom have come down with virulent flu at once!
Discovering a secret pattern in The Teacher's lessons, Detective Bennett realizes he has just hours to save New York from the greatest disaster in its history. From the #1 bestselling author comes RUN FOR YOUR LIFE, the continuation of his newest, electrifying series.

ReplyDeleteTo this day I hate ALL clowns!
Not an entry ... I just wanted to say this is the first time I've heard of this book. Thanks for the heads up! I've never read this author, but I probably will someday -- I generally like mysteries and thrillers.
ReplyDeleteThat`s easy- Michael Myers from Halloween. I still have nightmares about him!
ReplyDeleteI would have to go with Jack the Ripper. I loved Patricia Cornwell's research into this creep! It was very well researched and interesting.
ReplyDeleteNone of them really scare me. I'm so totally not brave, so I don't get why I'm not afraid of serial killers... but I'm just not. I love reading about them and watching movies and TV about them, though.

Actually, in absolute truth, Ted Bundy because it hit very close to home. I grew up in Fla and he abducted/killed one of my mother's best friend's daughters. It was horrible.
And the terrifying yet surreal memory of that week has never left me after all these years.
Ps on a lighter note, I follow and would love to win this one. Thanks for the op :)
I like simple entries. I am a huge Patterson fan, so thank you for offering this giveaway.
