I participated in this sponsored album review program of "This is What The Truth Feels Like" by Gwen Stefani as a member of One2One Network. I was provided the album to review but all opinions are my own. #ThisIsWhatTheTruthFeelsLike #GwenO2O.

Oh Gwen.  Gwen, Gwen, Gwen.

Her new album? On FIRE.  The Gwen Stefani that we all know and love is alive and well in her newest album, "This Is What The Truth Feels Like".

Gwen Stefani: This is What The Truth Feels Like review

I have been a fan of Gwen Stefani's since her No Doubt days.  No Doubt's albums were essentially the soundtrack of my teenage years (well, No Doubt, Green Day and Beck were HUGE) and as a plain Jane, I wanted to be Gwen.  Her style? Fierce.  Her attitude? On fire.  Her beauty? Everything I wished to be. Oh who am I kidding? Gwen is STILL one of my top girl crushes (Her and Drew Barrymore are my spirit animals)  She was the IT girl of the 90s.  She has endured as an artist and I love her.   Tragic Kingdom is still on my playlist.

She's quirky.  She's fierce.  She's a woman who has loved, lost and found love again.  All very publicly.  She has done what many of us who have faced heart break and love have done- put it into words.  The dissolution of her marriage to Bush front-man, Gavin Rossdale, was very public.  So has her new relationship with Blake Shelton. This album is an emotional rollercoaster.

It's heartbreak.

It's happiness.

It's a little naughty (Oh yes, Gavin, I do believe that track is a dig at you!).

She's telling a story.  It's beautiful, it's fun, it's quirky and it's all Gwen.

Guys.  Gwen Stefani is fierce and if you are a fan, GRAB THIS ALBUM!

I pinkie-promise you won't be disappointed.

"I Used to Love You" is so telling.

"I don't know why I cry, but I think it's cause I remembered for the first time
Since I hated you... that I used to love you"

We've all been there.  After the anger has settled down, you remember.  I do.

The next two - "Make Me Like You" and "Misery" are very obviously about finding love again.

“Make Me Like You”

“Misery” (Lyric Video)

And y'all, listen to "Truth".

This is about allowing yourself to be okay with being loved and that you really do deserve it.  Just as she does.

The entire album is absolutely, unabashedly Gwen.  It's upbeat, it's slow, it's pop, it's funky and it's a GREAT album.

My top three songs (at the time of writing this review and can change at any moment. Ha!)

1.  Used to love you.
2.  Truth
3.  Misery
