However, my mother talks about a Mr. Darcy character, so I guess I would have to claim him as my favorite.<br /><br />Ms. Odiwe's book looks like it would be a great book not only on its own, but as a way of introduction to Austen-esque books.<br /><br />(I have, however, read and liked the following--what I guess would be deemed romances--Jane Eyre, Wuthering Heights, and Adam Bede by George Eliot. Also some Thomas Hardy.
